Using NASA satellites, researchers at the University of Auckland in New Zealand conducted a ten-year cloud tracking study and found that Earth’s clouds are getting lower by about 1%, which is around 100 to 130 feet. But don’t panic, the news might be good – a consistent reduction in cloud height could counteract global warming by allowing the Earth to cool more efficiently.
